If you know something about anything, you know that the Nike x Kanye West collaboration "Air Yeezy" sneakers released in one colorway this past weekend at a premium price of $215 dollars. People lined up for these. People resold these for more money. People went crazy about these.
Check out this vid by Davy Greenberg about what transcended this weekend.

The Air Yeezy is one of the most expensive Nike sneakers as far as retail goes. At a price of $215, these beat out Foamposites as well as Air Jordan XVII's which came with a small suitcase and the Spiz'Ikes (If i can remember correctly).
Of course I'm going to go ahead and say, these were sold on the name alone. Kanye West, being the presence he is in the music industry (as gay as he may seem), holds name recognition. These were super-hyped. Although I like them aesthetically, I hate the fact that they're selling the name of an artist I don't even like. But hey... Who am I do discredit their marketing...

More Air Jordan Nike Fusions
Wow, it's been a week. College rules my life. Anyway, back on that sneaker tip...
Nike just doesn't stop. As much as us sneaker purists are against the fusions, people in the hood go "Ohhhh snap! New Jays!" and buy these fusions. The fusions seem like a good idea but execution wise, they just don't float my boat. Here we've got fusion IXs (From Sneakerfiles). Most poeple don't even know what IXs are.

Purple Flightposite 1
Remember when purple wasn't cool? They flamed the purple telletubby for being a flamer... But now it's cool. So check out these purple Flightposite 1s, which will be releasing on October 11th. They feature a purple gradient upper and the usual zipper top with black lining and black midsole. And there's some grey in there. October 11th.From Sneakerfiles

DQM makes big moves
DQM, another boutique in my strong line-up of premier New York boutiques is making some big moves. In addition to their Fall / Winter line coming out, they have teamed up with Nike yet again to produce these Dunk His. The dunks are presented in three colorways with what seems to be a perforated suede upper. If I was in New York I'd go check it out but... college happens. The colors available are Cave Purple, Industrial Blue, and Ice Green. Being in Houston I'm kind of out of the loop at the moment so as far as I know, there is no release date yet but it might be floating somewhere on the internet. Nike "Scribble" Dunk
Now, this is my blog. Although there have been some people with "clout" reading it, I am still entitled to my own opinion right? Sorry Beaverton but I don't think these will be that popular amongst consumers. These dunks, releasing right in time for kids to go back to school, feature one of the wildest colorways and patterns I've ever seen. Featuring a crayon scribble pattern on the upper and yellow midsole, check, and laces, these sneakers are somewhat wild. I just don't see people wearing it. Check them out. From Sneakerfiles

NikeiD Air Force 1
Back in the days before NikeiD moved to Niketown on 57th and 5th and it was at 255 Elizabeth, you needed an invite to even get in. They held a monthly raffle and gave out two I think. You could bring one other person with you and they got an invite and so did you when you visited (so you could come back). If you were lucky enough to even get an invite, you still couldn't customize any shoe. Dunks and Air Maxes were allowed as well as some other ugly shoes but Air Force 1s were limited to celebrities and VIP only.
I guess that's history because today, you can customize Air Forces on Nike Sportswear. There's a plethora of materials to use, even patent leather. However, they have limited quantities to a certain number per day. So get them early. And remember, Beaverton is in Oregon and there's a time difference. Hint Hint.

Infrared Air Max 90
I remember when I first got into non-Jordans, these were the first kicks I bought. The Infrared Air Max 90's. It's spelled Infra-red, not infa-red by the way. I beat them into the ground, so thank God they're being retroed. The mudguard on the retros isn't the same, its made out of darker/deeper material. These will be released tomorrow at your usual Tier-0 retailers. In New York I guess we can expect these at Alife, DQM, and Recon? Who knows. Some even speculate these will pop up at Quickstrike retailers and even Urban Accounts.
The differences will be that the inner liner is now premium leather, The mudguard is a darker ostrich skin, The upper is nubuck instead of suede, among other changes.

Hybrid Mania!
Nike just rolls out new stuff everyday it seems. Not only have they asserted their spot as the leader of the Olympics, but have been crushing the competition in the stores and Boutiques. Nike revisits the pigeon colorway with these Air Forces. Once again Nike is innovating with the fusion idea, adding AM97 accents to the Air Forces, adapting the tongue and hook to the Forces.

Patent Dunk High
I'm sure I'm not the first to show you these but I saw them while making my rounds and couldn't help but post them up. I'm a sucker for patent leather and primary colors. I present to you, the Nike Quilted Patent pack dropping on August 8th.From HighSnobiety

Hyperdunk Mania
We've seen Kobe jump over an Aston Martin in some Hyperdunks. A pool of snakes. We've seen Leroy make Terry eat his shorts in Hyperdunks. And now, the Hyperdunk Olympic editions are coming out. And they're limited so you know they're going to cause madness.
On Saturday July 26th, the Olympic Hyperdunks will release at Harlem's House of Hoops (by Footlocker) representing teams from around the world including: Argentina, Australia, China, Germany, Lithuania, Russia, Spain, and Puerto Rico. Only 24 per country will be released. They're $125
Argentina clearly takes the cake on these with their typical mellow blue. Puerto Rico and Spain are cool also.House of Hoops

Nike Loves the Kids
Nike loves the kids! And the kids at heart that remember writing in those composition notebooks. If you still do that then I don't know what to tell you. I definitely stopped that in 5th grade. Here are the Grade School Dunks that Nike has released. Don't they remind you of the Composition Dunk Hi's and Elmers Glue 90's from last year?

Marge Simpson
Nike is following up the release of a stellar shoe. The Homer SB. 4 years later these come out with the Marge Simpson colorway. That blue suede is butter right now... These released in Asia but I need a pair of these in my life.
Definitely a pickupFrom Hypebeast
